MetaTrader on macOS, or nothing to install at all
On a Mac used for charts most days, installing is worth it. Templates, indicator settings and window arrangements persist through restarts and system updates, so the workspace is not rebuilt at the start of every session and does not depend on a browser tab surviving.
On a Mac that is borrowed, shared with the household or opened for charts occasionally, the browser is the cleaner option. Nothing is written to disk, the session ends when the tab closes, and the account is reachable again from whichever device comes next.
There is no need to choose permanently, because neither route holds the account: it belongs to the platform, and each device simply signs in to it. Since Ghana sits at UTC+0, the London session opens in the local morning and New York in the early afternoon, so the active hours run straight through the day, which is why a common arrangement is the installed platform on the machine at home and the browser on whatever screen happens to be free elsewhere.
